Care from a Trusted Medical Team
Our Medical Advisor oversees medical care, and residents are also followed by their primary health care practitioner.
A physician and a nurse practitioner both conduct rounds weekly, visiting residents in their rooms. Nursing staff will also ask the doctor to see any resident they assess as needing medical attention.

Residents, family or POA can arrange an appointment through the Registered Staff.
Appointments Outside the Home
Families are responsible for arranging outside medical appointments and are expected to accompany residents to them. North Queens Nursing Home staff will help arrange the necessary transportation.
24-hour nursing
A Registered Nurse is on duty or on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
